Your data, in plain English.

Kollab Trading HK Limited (“Kollab”, “we”) runs kollab.technology. We are the data user responsible for your personal data under Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).

When you send the contact form:

• your name
• your email address
• your company (optional)
• what you need (web platform, mobile app, AI product, product design or not sure yet)
• your message

If you email us instead, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We don’t ask for anything else, and there are no accounts on this site.

Name, email and message are needed for us to reply; without them we can’t answer your enquiry. Company and “what you need” help us prepare, and you can leave the company out.

Only to reply to your enquiry and to discuss the project you asked about: questions, a proposal and next steps. If you become a client, we keep the correspondence that forms part of our work together.

We never use your data for direct marketing and never add you to a mailing list.

We don’t sell, rent or share your personal data. It is handled only by:

• Web3Forms, the form service that receives the form and emails it to us. It keeps its own copy of submissions for about 30 days.
• Our email provider, which hosts the info@kollab.technology inbox.
• Vercel, which hosts this website.

These providers process it for us, and their servers may be outside Hong Kong. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Only as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry. If no project follows, we delete it within 3 months of our last contact. If you become a client, we keep project correspondence for as long as our records and legal obligations require. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

The site is served over HTTPS, the form is sent over an encrypted connection, and only the people who handle enquiries at Kollab can open the inbox.

This site sets no cookies.

To see which pages are visited and how fast they load, we use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. They don’t use cookies, don’t identify you and give us only totals, such as page views, countries and loading times; the anonymous visit marker is discarded after 24 hours.

Under the Ordinance you can ask whether we hold personal data about you, ask for a copy of it, and ask us to correct it. We’ll reply within 40 days, as the Ordinance requires. The Ordinance allows us to charge a fee for a copy; we don’t expect to. You can also ask us to delete our copy of your data or to stop contacting you, and we will; Web3Forms’ copy expires on its own after about 30 days.
